Facilities
Camp Jaycee is located on 185 acres of forests, fields and streams located in the lovely Pocono Mountains, a short distance from the New Jersey border. The centerpiece of the camp is a beautiful 2 acre spring fed pond. A pine paneled dining hall is the hub of camp life. A modern fully staffed infirmary is located nearby. Our rustic cabins each have their own modern bathroom and shower houses are at the center of each camp. Program areas include a large recreation building with a stage, an arts & crafts building, a music building, a nature lodge and full athletic facilities. In 2006 a beautiful new pavilion was erected to provide additional outdoor activity space which is protected from the weather. |

Activities
Swimming Both recreational and instructional swim are offered at our beautiful sandy beachfront. Arts & Crafts Painting, drawing, pottery, as well as any craft you can imagine let our campers express their creativity. Dance & Movement American and International folk dancing, movement exercises, and fun for all. Music Singing, rhythm instruments, and games are offered in our music program. Sports & Games Soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, group games and more promote social skills and physical fitness. Nature Nature trail walks, camp craft, animal care, animal tracking, and gardening allow our campers to enjoy the beautiful setting. Boating Rowboats, canoes, and paddle boats are available for camper use. Evening Activities dances, karaoke, plays, campfires, movies, games and much more! |
