Camp Jaycee is located on 185 acres of forests, fields and streams located in the lovely Pocono Mountains, a short distance from the New Jersey border. The centerpiece of the camp is a beautiful 2 acre spring fed pond. A pine paneled dining hall is the hub of camp life. A modern fully staffed infirmary is located just behind. The boys and girls camps contain clusters of rustic cabins, each with their own modern bathroom. Shower houses are at the center of each camp. Program areas include a large recreation building with a stage, an arts & crafts building, a music building, nature lodge, and full athletic facilities.

SWIMMING­ Both recreational and instructional swim are offered at our beautiful sandy beach front.

ARTS & CRAFTS­ Painting, drawing, pottery, as well as any craft you can imagine lets our campers express their creativity.

DANCE & MOVEMENT­ American and International folk dancing, movement exercises, and fun for all.

MUSIC­ Singing, rhythm instruments, and games are offered in our music program.

SPORTS & GAMES­ Soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, group games and more.

NATURE­ Nature trail walks, camp craft, animal care, animal tracking, gardening and enjoying our wonderful setting.

BOATING­ Rowboats, canoes, and paddle boats are available for camper use.

 

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE GEARED TO THE INDIVIDUAL CAMPER'S ABILITY

The health and safety of our special campers is of utmost concern. Camp Jaycee employs resident nurses who staff our modern infirmary. They carefully administer all medication, both emergency and routine medical care, in addition to comfort and support. We also retain the services of a consulting physician who is able to see our campers when the need arises. We have a relationship with local hospitals that enable us to get more extensive care if the need arises. All of our staff are trained in basic first aid as well as safety and accident prevention.
